The Air Force (AF) Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) mission is to ensure the safety, survivability, security and reliability of AF strategic weapons systems, including non-nuclear mission essential assets, the delivery system or platform, associated non-nuclear support systems, equipment, facilities, personnel, command and control systems, and supporting logistics infrastructure. The AFNWC goals are to maintain weapon system surety through application of technical processes, development and implementation of technology advances, and sustainment of capabilities, tactics, and doctrine to ensure operational readiness and effectiveness. Sigma Science supports AFNWC with studies, analysis, and supports mission requirements for survivability, vulnerability safety, surety, and security for nuclear weapon system effectiveness.
