In 2018 Sigma Science received the first contract from CNS to provide Safety Basis and Fire Protection Services under an 8(a) contract. Since then, SSI has received three additional contracts from CNS. Pantex and Y12 were added sites under Sigma Science’s Honeywell SCMC contract to provided Nuclear Safety Analysts, Fire Hazard Analysts, Nuclear Explosive Safety Specialists, Criticality Safety Engineers and Analysts, Fire Protection Engineers and Specialists, Electrical Engineers, Authorization Basis Document Specialists, and Technical Editors. A follow-on to the 8(a) contract was issued under the Honeywell SCMC Contract to provide Safety Basis Analysis and Fire Protection Services and a Blanket Ordering Agreement was issued to provide Nuclear Safety Analysis Services.
