The STC Joint Venture, comprised of SSI and TerranearPMC (TPMC), and its team have won a contract to support DOE-EM-HQ with technical, regulatory, environmental, and planning support. The team includes Leidos, Booz Allen Hamilton, and Longenecker & Associates. The contract award is an IDIQ worth $4.0 million over a five year period.

Under this new contract, STC has already won two subsequent task orders:

  • The first task order is worth $1.22 million over a two year period of performance to provide technical, regulatory, environmental planning support services to the DOE EM Office of Waste and Material Management. Task areas include: Depleted Uranium Hexafluoride Disposition NEPA Support; Energy Policy Act Title X Uranium/Thorium Licensee Reimbursement Support; Mercury Storage Facility Environmental and Fee Estimate Support; Cost Analysis and Estimate Support for Greater-Than-Class-C Low-Level Radioactive Waste Disposal; and DOE-Managed Spent Nuclear Fuel, High Level Waste, and New Waste Form Support.
  • The second task order is to provide Safety Basis Support to the DOE Savannah River SWPF Project Office. STC will provide support in three phases: Safety Basis Document Familiarization, Safety Basis Review, and Implemented Verification Review assessment.
